I started my photographic career at the age of 13 years when my mother bought me my first camera. She was bewildered by the fact that I took photos of such objects as stairs, railings and other inanimate objects. She was also very understanding when I came home late for dinner explaining that I was lying on my belly waiting for a gopher to come back out of its hole. After graduating from high school I decided that photography was to be my career choice.

I went to Hennepin Technical Center and studied Commercial Photography and graduated at the top of my class. After leaving school I got a job at Marvy! Advertising Photography. This was one of top advertising studios at the time and where I learned all aspects of what it takes to create great photographs. I worked for three years producing work for all of the top Ad Agencies in the country.

In 1980 I left to work at my current job with Crofoot Photography. In the last 28 years I have worked side by side with Ron Crofoot doing work for clients such as American Standard, Andersen Windows, Marvin Windows, Formica, Corion, Dominoes, Red Baron, Hormel, Perkins, Hardees and many others. Creating photographs with great composition and beautiful light with an unrelenting attention to detail has kept us in high demand with Ad Agencies all over the country.

These images represent my personal work. I still tend to like to photograph inanimate objects and hope that my unique vision of these things will appeal to your senses as well. Seeing the ordinary with extraordinary vision is the way I would describe my style.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my art.
